Miratorg plans to raise exports by 47.1% to 155,000 tns in 2021

MOSCOW, Oct 7 (PRIME) -- Russian meat producer Miratorg plans to raise exports of its products by 47.1% on the year to 155,000 tonnes in 2021, the company said in a presentation on Thursday.

Revenue from exports should jump by 75.4% on the year to U.S. $470 million. In physical terms, exports are to reach 94,000 tonnes of pork, 36,000 tonnes of beef, 19,000 tonnes of poultry, and 5,000 tonnes of semi-finished products.

In 2025, exports should rise to 377,000 tonnes of meat and meat products worth $1.147 billion.

Miratorg President Viktor Linnik said during an agricultural exhibition that the major export markets for the company are the southeast Asian countries and the countries of the Persian Gulf. The company exports products to 40 states, and has invested almost 400 billion rubles in regional projects since 2005, Linnik said.
